OMB LOSO Land – Charlotte, NC
This joint venture between Cameron Property Co. and developer White Point Partners is located on 8 acres surrounding The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery in lower South End, an area undergoing rapid development. It includes several single-family homes, a 4.3-acre parcel behind OMB, and a 2.1-acre site at 4210 Yancey Road with a 50,000 SQFT converted mill building. The land acquisition follows city approval in of White Point’s petition to rezone 5.7 acres of the site to TOD-NC, or transit-oriented development-neighborhood center. The site will include a multifamily development and an adaptive-reuse project. Phase I of the project is slated to begin in early 2023 and will add about 350 multi-family units, along with the existing mill building’s redevelopment into office and retail space.

The first of two retail buildings in our Cherry Road redevelopment project is set to open. We’re excited to have Wingstop, My Eyelab, and Chipotle opening their doors, all great additions to the area. Phase II, a new 8,000 SQFT building is also underway and coming soon.
